The use of our platform is free for consumers. Of course there are costs for making use of the services of one of our verified locksmiths. The cost depends on the work that has to be done, the time of day and week and whether additional services are required. You can find an overview of the prices on our prices page. All payments are fulfilled digitally through our secure locksmith.nl platform. This means there will be no unpleasant surprises with defect ATM’s or cash payments.

Our Prices for immediate service

Below you find the all-inclusive fees we charge for opening doors free of damage in emergency situation. Prices include VAT.

  • Daily rate (00:01– 24:00): €75,-
  • Weekend does not make any difference 👍

What does a locksmith cost? Overview of our rates

Door opening  €75

Locked out? In almost all cases we open your door without any damage. Whether it involves picking the lock, drilling or breaking the cylinder — these techniques are always included in the price. You will never be charged extra for the method we use.

Cylinder matching or replacement

Want a new, safer lock straight away? Our locksmiths install certified SKG-rated cylinders on the spot.

  • SKG ★★ cylinder  €75
  • SKG ★★★ cylinder €125

Deadbolt installation  €250

For extra security on your front or back door, we install a deadbolt lock. The price is all-in, including materials and installation.

Additional work  €75 per extra hour

Does the job take longer than one hour? We charge €75 per additional working hour. We always discuss this with you in advance, so you are never faced with unexpected costs.

Always included in the price

At Locksmith.nl, the following techniques are always free of charge also we never charge extra for the method used:

  • Drilling the lock
  • Pulling the cylinder
  • Breaking the cylinder

We always choose the method that causes the least damage. In almost all cases, our locksmith opens the door without any damage whatsoever.

For your safety, our payment process is completely digital on the locksmith platform with iDEAL and Credit Card payments. This way you avoid unpleasant surprises like defect payment machines or dodgy cash payments. You will also get an invoice by email emmidiately after the payment. This can be used for your insurance, landlord etc.

If a lock needs to be replaced, there will be additional hardware costs. The Locksmith will inform you up front about the costs.

A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged if you cancel the job after it is booked and the locksmith is heading towards you.
